I don't think so - it looks to be moulded on. Only saving grace is that it's quite small, and all in black on a black front, so is not really conspicuous from normal viewing distance.

A few locos did have AWS fitted whilst still in original condition (including tender) but most only for a short while before they were rebuilt, or just their tenders were.

A s/h class 73 in blue. Bachmann class 205 DEMU (Thumper unit) in Blue. oxford dustcart. Bedford CA ice cream van . Vauxhall HB . Morris Marina.

Met up with the inlaws for dinner today, as we didn't see them at xmas, so for xmas from them i got some people, and some mainline wagons, some ratio kits, and some wills kits, not too bad, oh and a tree

Wife bought me for Xmas flying Scotsman & mallard in 18ct gold plated for display and I have just purchased a DRS class 37 Bachmann sound loco for my DRS depot to pull my Lima dummy class 37 and DRS nuclear flask with DRS brake coach
