Default Union Mills spares

I have a Union Mills J39 which has a detached worm drive. It is a very loose fit on the motor shaft and I can't see how it was fitted. Did they use something like Loctite? Super glue is ineffective, lasting only a few seconds before slipping. Soldering, even with my hi tech iron and low melting point solder, could cause damage to the motor itself so I don't intend to try that! Anyone know how it was fitted originaally or where I can get a new motor and drive?
