Hornby Bulleid Pacifics - I have twenty two Merchant Navy Class, half a dozen West Country and a couple of Battle of Britain. The one's I have run (only one or two), do run very smoothly indeed. I just need a few more.

Indeed, Brian, I like this particular colour scheme. Looks great alongside the LMS Crab locomotive..............HB

Hornby loco's for me seem to run slower on DCC whilst I see no difference with Heljan or Bachmann, don't know why this is, I also use Lenz decoders.

I had a Hornby Class 56 once (DC) and it was fast, had to go though, all yellow cab and large logo yuk!

Back to the future my Bachmann Class 101 & 105 DMU's are superb runners as are the Class 37, 47.

Yes it does. By the way the track on the gradient top right of the picture is far too steep.

I only have one hornby loco on my dcc layout and itís not a bad runner, Thompson L1. The rest I have are all Bachmann.

Iíve only been using cheap laisdcc chips and theyíve been fine. Have one in my 56XX which is my best runner.

Very pleased with my Heljan locos, Scottish type 2s (class 26 & 27s) plus a parcels unit.

The Hornby Crosti 9F is a very fine runner.
