Are you at home in Lucerne or are you just dreaming about it? I have been to Lucerne once. Got the train from Interlaken. There was one train a week, on Saturdays. Love Switzerland. Great place for trains. We went to the Kleine Sheideg (which means "Little Pasture"). An English tourist said to the waitress on the Kleine Sheideg "I'd like a fried egg". The waitress brought the fried egg, and the tourist said "I am having a fried egg on the Kleine Sheideg!". The waitress said "You English! You think everything is a joke! You pay for it!"

It has been a lovely day.
Here are a couple of photos I took a few days ago. The first is looking towards Caldey Island and Tenby. The second is looking down towards the Gwendraeth estuary. I only had to walk a few paces to get the different views. A few more paces and I have views of the end of the Gower.

That seems to be the highest recorded in the UK today (RAF Northolt) and the hottest Early May Bank Holiday. Keep taking the liquids WTD. R-

Our thermometer is under an outside porch, it might be shady but still hotter than in the sun I reckon.

Airports where they always record the temperatures are always extra hot. All that concrete.

Well, do you know I did look up where to place the thermometer to get an accurate reading and above concrete, or tarmac is a no-no. Above grass or soil is good and about 5 feet off the ground, in the shade with good air circulation. R-
