Default First Attempts

These are part of my first attempt at an O gauge structure.........built and painted to look like rusting corrugated roofing sheets.

You have achieved your objective I think, certainly looks like rusty corrugated roofing to me . Well done .

The effect looks good although the colour looks a bit purple to me. But it could be the light balance setting on the camera throwing it off.
I googled images of rusty corrugated sheets and they were a little more towards orange/brown.

It is my awful camera, the colours I used were dark rust, flat yellow and flat red plus a wash with dark earth.

I use real rust when I can but it is not easy to convert to corrugated form. These are rusty tin can almost ready to form a roof. The little bits where there are no rust is where the glue for the label was.

I felt the same as Steve M.
However the graduation of colour etc is very well done.
