Default Track detail on mimic board

Presently building a mimic board. All holes safely drilled in plastic board ready for leds. Next job is to place all the track lines on the board. I have the tape to mark out the lines. Now my "problem" - the colour of separate tracks. Is there a colour convention to be followed? I.e. Up line, down line, branches, sidings etc.

Not as far as I am aware CR. I've seen all sorts of combinations, the most common being just black. Use something that makes sense for you. R-

When I constructed my mimic board it did not cross my mind that there might be a convention. However, to relieve the boredom of all one colour I decided on one colour for the main line, another for the remainder i.e. red and black respectively

That is an impressive signal box.

Thought I would show my resultant "Picasso". Now just to add some numbers, relevant details and the leds. Frame already under way.
