Well managed to get my first piece of third rail down today doesn't look to. Ad

That looks great Dave. Do the EMUs have dummy pick ups modeled on them?

just imagine micro led's flickering as the train moved along, and nice bright light the sky types up when it goes through a gap.......

Yes they do have dummy pickups TWD.

I've seen a model of the underground with flashing pickups Tinker, looks very effective, better than smoke by a long chalk.

Class 73's had a high index only allowed 2 loco's together on electric power, in the early hours going up the Dartford Loop around 1600 amps on the cab power gauge, the ceramic pots the rails sat on used to get some damp in them, they would start to glow orange, then explode white hot ceramic better than any firework, they were also very good in the snow draw a arc right over the cab when the shoes left the rail with some power on.....
