Default Vintage Coarse Scale 0 Gauge Models.

I was looking for something completely different and I stumbled upon the forum of coarse scale 0 gauge modellers. Can't remember the title. All I can say is I spent ages looking at the various vintage models. It really was a good read through. I even saw how some modellers had made their own tinplate models in the same style of the old ones. While in the past I puzzled about the attraction of such items that in some cases hardly even look like the real thing, I now "Get it" and love the minimalist concept of track, board and trains. Such a simple pleasure! Fun!

I have made one of these replicas-

It is a 'what if' based on the idea that Hornby Dublo did not come into existence in 1938 but Meccano decided to make more realistic looking locos on gauge O instead.
