Default I am easily pleased!

Having researched the history of GWR/BR Class 64xx loco's I got the impression that they were used in Wales, Devon and Cornwall with one escaping to run an Auto Coach service between Gloucester and Chalford.

I wanted to base Kingswood in my area so having a 64xx kind of put the dampers on that!

I was over joyed to find this on the internet..........

Kidderminster Station With Auto Train To Bewdley

It is surprising how far locos reached in the latter days of steam.

I am very glad they did MG.

It is now just a case of dropping on the information that was collected at the time. All I can say is thank goodness for all of the 'Anorak' brigade!

There were also a few locations which had more then one company passing through. One place had the GWR, LMS and LNER all sending their trains past the location.
Mind you, you dont have to be historically accurate. I've seen highly accurate layouts in model railway magazines having a fleet of locos on shed, but having big mistakes in their use of locomotives which were seen with others.
Having said that, it is your layout so you can decide what you want to run.

Funny how it's always the little things that give us so much joy. No rude comments please
