If, and it really is a BIG if, it were to happen, the turbo engine would not be fitted. I have read many articles on that conversion, and the biggest problem appears to be heat. The original engine is a 998cc, which would probably benefit from a Stage 1 upgrade, but the easiest option would be to fit a 1275cc. I saw one (mini clubman estate) locally only the other day, which someone of my age had converted to 1275 and rebuilt. It looked good. As I say it's a big IF!
