I have used Scotch Lock connectors, the Blue one's with 32/0.2 wire, roughly 800 of them, they work for me....they feed as mentioned wago's 2 or 3 connector type

I understand what your saying, the ceiling/loft joists rest on various walls, my second layer just spread the weight, the layout extension when built in my case will not rest on the floor.

I have a loft layout and a couple of things you should consider, insulate the roof i used fiber glass and 1/8th ply, the floors been mentioned mine has 4" X 2" timbers across i laid further 4" x 2"...

If you go down each side end to end and something across one end then your have no way to loop round just dead ends, make one side 4' x 4' for 4th and 3rd rad curves at the far end and the other side...

If its not been said, SEEP switches are not the most reliable switches, Digital point motors are easier to fit, wire up, and come with LED connections, just require a switch to make them work....
