Hi.
Removing the RF capacitors will not cause any issues when using a DCC decoder.
Personally I would try the loco with them still in place and only remove them if problems with motor control...

IRJ is Insulated Rail Joiner (Nylon fishplate).
Setting the PSX-1 to 5.0Amp means it will never trip as the Z21 is rated...
