I was not happy with the Chip Shop, the front and back walls were too high for the roof to fit properly, and there was no roof overlap at the ends. Also the windows looked odd, behind the wall, but...

Thanks for the replies.

I havn`t contacted the supplier, as they should know the product.
I can do creative thinking, and common sense. Between the two, I will come up with something that...

Has anyone built the “Fish and Chip Shop” from Modelrailwayscenery?

I have just started this card kit, and finding a few things not quite right. Folding back the brick wall at the windows, leaves...

How do the gremlins get in???

All points working last week, yesterday one right hand decided the blade would not make contact with the rail until I gave it a small tweak. On the other one, the...

Thanks for your replies.

Track cleaning

Just seen this on youtube. It looks simple and seems to give very good results. I wonder if it`s as good as it seems, or are there any long term effects on sleepers...

Thanks for all your answers, that seems to be the way to go. Ten wheels for about a tenner, should do four and a half wagons. A pack of twelve would make sense!

Thanks Walkingthedog, for your fast reply.

wheel back to back query

I have an odd wagon that does not run smoothly through the points, because the wheel back to back measurement is too small. I have managed to open out to axles from 13.6, to about 14.04mm. 14.4mm is...

Hi Triangpeter.

How permanently fixed down? Is there any way the baseboard can be hinged at the rear? This would make everything so much easier.

Hi and welcome!

I remember using those on my N gauge many years ago. I have two SL29, and neither will work. They are too low, when pushed down between the sleepers.

I have been looking for manual uncoupling ramps. The only ones I can find, are Peco SL430. Sometimes these are stated as 00 -oo9, and sometimes just 009. So can they be used for 00 please.
