Yes, the P-way gangs would build them out of old sleepers they had lying about, cheaper than buying a concrete one. Railway companies were very careful with there money;)

The paint affect is created by using matt black...

The paint affect is created by using matt black Calligraphy ink mixed into IPA and brushed on. The outside of the hut is clad in wooden drink stir sticks.

That is a lot of work, but when finished it...

That is a lot of work, but when finished it really sets them apart from the other mass produced figures that are available. Better suited to large scale models i think. Well done.
