Modelling Goods Sheds

I was just trying to find out about goods sheds.

I want to scratch build one in N scale, with a dock on one side and a single railway track on the other side. Plus a crane to transfer loads from boat to wagon.

Any thoughts/designs please?

Thanks to Google I found this reference book. Worth a look, methinks...

I have a copy of that book. It is a very good book.

Great find LB. It seems to have a companion:
Railway Goods Sheds and Warehouses

Feel quite guilty because the one you found costs 14.99 if purchased, but lets you just down load it! There is also one about Signal Boxes if anyone is interested.

Thank you Mr B and all. One fears reputation damage from posting something random like this.
