Visited their open day today. Plenty of locos and beautiful weather. One of the highlights for me, 7 Class 50's.

I see a few of the SEVERN VALLEY RAILWAY home fleet on show there.1501 used to work around OOC on empty coaching stock duties, it is the only one of that class preserved. If you ever get a chance to ride behind it do so, the exhaust beat sounds great. Just as a second thought, the BR insignia on 1501 were hand painted, they are a talented bunch on the valley.
