Making a tarpaulin for class 47

1 Attachment(s)
Heres my attempt at making a tarpaulin for a class 47.
I wrapped the body in cling film. Used thick tissue for the tarpaulin cut to size and placed over body. I brushed with 50/50 PVA until wet. Brushed up to make creases and left to dry. Painted and dry brushed for dirt. When dry remove from body along with cling film glue tarpaulin to body then add ropes. Ropes were made from 3 lengths of cotton plaited and glued in place.

Why on earth would you want to make a 100 ish loco unusable by sticking some paper all over it?.............:)..........HB

That looks very realistic. I would imagine it isn't a 100 loco but an old non working one. It makes a very unusual load.

Thanks for the nice comments chaps.
Cadman, lol, not a 100 loco but and old motorless Lima, was going to stick it on ebay for the chassiss and body but now I'm keeping it to go on my new (when rooms empty and I have some spare cash lol) layout as a static display in the TMD.

Lima class 47's were really good locos. They looked the part. Have a few myself.
